ACIC 2018 – Post Event Matters

With the conclusion of ACIC 2018, we hope everyone had a great time at the event, made some new friends and found renewed passion for the sport we all have come to love. Congratulations to all medalists and we hope everyone have received their award pins.

We noticed there were some issues with the live feed due to the WIFI connection. Our video crew is working on posting up the final part of the Sunday’s session 2 award ceremony.

We also received feedback with the incorrect routine videos being posted on Youtube. The media crew has uploaded the correct videos during the competition but due to the WIFI connection, the upload was affected and the videos got jumbled up. They are currently working on renaming/re-uploading the correct videos and would like to seek your understanding in the delay due to Youtube daily upload limit.

We will be reviewing the issues and work towards improvement for next year’s ACIC and we apologise for the distress caused.

We would also like to extend our sincerest apologies to Nova All Stars and Wildcards Cheerleading Team for the suspense caused during the awards ceremony. The results team have tabulated the results correctly but when the results were populated on the results template sheet, there was an error in the excel formula and one team’s infraction was not reflected. The mistake was discovered after the 2nd and 1st runner-up award was given out. We have immediately investigated the problem after the conclusion of the award ceremony and we will ensure this incident will not happen again at ACIC. We will be working on a more efficient system to tabulate the results faster and more accurately.

This was a learning lesson for the results team and on behalf of the team, I would like to extend our deepest apologies again to the 2 outstanding teams who were great troopers and displayed the true sportsmanship spirit of a cheerleader. It is an experience no athlete should ever have to go through and we are deeply sorry for it. The April Fool’s joke’s on us, and definitely not on them. #respect #gratefulandhumbled

Registration Ends for ACIC 2018

We would like to thank everyone for supporting our event! The ACIC 2018 registration is officially closed. We are no longer accepting new entries for the competition. We will, however, be still accepting registration of athletes for existing registered teams.

We are working out the schedule, cleaning up and checking through the database and ploughing through the emails, please bear with us. We will get back to you in maximum 5 working days.

In the meantime, registered participants are reminded to submit their waiver forms by 7th March. Participants who have not submitted the forms will be ineligible for competition. You can find the tutorial on how to submit waiver forms in the following link.

ACIC 2019 Cessation of Group Stunt and Partner Stunt Divisions

As of Asia Cheerleading Invitational Championships (ACIC) 2019, Group Stunt and Partner Stunt divisions will no longer be offered on our menu of divisions. ACIC 2018 will mark the last season hosting these divisions.

From ACIC 2019 onwards, Double Partner Stunt and Double Group Stunt will be included in the menu of divisions instead.
